Your ticks in the decoder
The symptom boxes are scored by code running in your own browser. Your ticks never leave the device and vanish when you close or reload the page.
Visit counts
You never give a name or an email to read this site. A short script records, without knowing who you are, that a page opened, which site linked you here, how far down you scrolled and whether you tapped one of the test buttons. It adds your browser language, your operating system and a random ID stored in your browser so a second visit is not counted as a new person. The country and region are estimated from your IP address, and the full address is not stored.
Where the counts go
The counts travel through this site's own server to an analytics provider that keeps them on servers in the European Union. They help us see which parts of the page are useful. They are not sold, and no advertiser gets them.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no cookies. Your browser stores the random ID, a session marker that expires after 30 minutes without activity, your light or dark choice and, if you dismiss it, the hidden state of the small bar at the bottom of the screen on phones. Clearing the site data in your browser deletes all of it. If you block scripts or trackers, the page keeps working and nothing is counted.
The test buttons
Buttons for the free 30-second test lead to /calm-test on this site. That address only reads your browser's user agent: Android phones are sent to the Confidently listing on Google's app store with the button's position passed along as a referrer, and every other device is sent to Apple's App Store. Nothing is logged there. Once you arrive at a store, the privacy terms of that store and of the app apply.
Your rights
Email the address above and we will delete anything tied to your random ID. Because nothing here identifies you by name, clearing this site's data in your browser is the fastest way to cut the link yourself.
